ALROSA sells $4.8 mln diamonds at auction in New York

MOSCOW, Nov 26 (PRIME) -- Russian uncut diamond mining giant ALROSA sold U.S. $4.8 million worth of polished diamonds of its own production at an auction in New York, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company sold 255 polished diamonds with a total weight of 435 carats.

Subsidiary company Diamonds Alrosa organized the auction , and companies from the U.S., Belgium, India, Israel, China, Russia, and Hong Kong took part in the auction.
